ChatterCert
Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of chattercert.com — the courses, exams, certifications, and the hiring marketplace. They are written to be read. If you have a question about what something means, ask us at hello@chattercert.com.
Last updated: August 3, 2026
1. The service
ChatterCert provides training courses and certification exams for chatters who operate the CRM and management platforms used by creator agencies, plus a language-proficiency assessment, public certification pages that anyone can check, and a hiring marketplace that connects certified candidates with verified agencies. ChatterCert is independent training: we are not affiliated with, and our credentials are not endorsed by, the platforms our courses teach.
2. Eligibility and account integrity
- You must be 18 or older. ChatterCert serves people who work, or want to work, in the adult-content industry. The site itself is safe-for-work, but you confirm you are at least 18 when you create an account.
- One account, your real identity. You may hold one account, and it must be yours. A certification is a statement that you personally completed the coursework and passed the exam. Having someone else take any part of a course or exam for you — or taking one for someone else — is misrepresentation, and it is the one thing that permanently destroys what a credential means.
- If we confirm that an account misrepresented who did the work, we revoke the affected certifications and may close the account. See section 5.
3. Accounts and signing in
There are no passwords. You sign in with a one-time link we email to your address, so your account is only as secure as your inbox — protect it, and never forward a sign-in link to anyone. Certifications are bound to the email address that earned them; we use that binding when an employer asks a certificate holder to prove the credential is theirs. You are responsible for activity that happens through your signed-in session.
4. Purchases and billing
All payments are processed by Whop, our merchant of record. When you buy anything on ChatterCert, the transaction is with Whop, Whop’s buyer terms apply to the payment, and refunds and billing disputes are handled through Whop. We never see or store your card number.
- Membership ($14.99/month or $99/year) covers all certification courses as they are released, and keeps your earned certifications showing as VALID. It renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you already paid for, and you keep access until then.
- Premium courses (currently $49–$69) are one-time purchases, separate from membership. Some have prerequisites, which are stated on the course page before you buy.
- Exam retakes ($24.99) are one-time purchases. Every exam includes two attempts; after that there is a 7-day waiting period and further attempts are paid.
Prices are shown at checkout and may change for future purchases; a price change never alters what you already bought.
5. Certifications
Every certification gets a public page at chattercert.com/c/{code} showing the display name you chose, the credential, the date earned, and a live status badge. That page is the product — here is exactly how it behaves:
- VALID means the credential was earned and is currently maintained — either through an active membership or, for standalone purchases, through the verification window included with that purchase.
- LAPSEDmeans the membership or verification window ended. “Certified {date}” stays on the page permanently; only the badge changes. Resubscribing restores VALID without retaking any exam.
- REVOKED means we confirmed cheating or misrepresentation. Revoked pages stay up — they never quietly disappear.
- Your display name locks at first issuance. The name on your first certification is the name on all of them. Choose it deliberately — it is what employers will see and verify.
- Results are pass/fail (or a level band for language certifications). Scores are never published and never shared with employers.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- cheat on any quiz or exam, or help anyone else cheat;
- share, sell, or lend account access or a certification to another person;
- copy, extract, or redistribute exam questions or answers;
- scrape the site, harvest certification pages or marketplace data, or probe our systems;
- misrepresent your identity, your credentials, or your relationship to an agency; or
- use the service to break any law or platform policy.
7. Marketplace
The marketplace connects certified candidates with verified agencies. The full rules live on the safety page and how verification works; the essentials:
- Candidates never pay to be hired. No application, placement, training, or equipment fees — from us or from agencies. We take no cut of your pay.
- We are not your employer, agent, or payroll. Hires, contracts, pay, and working conditions are between the candidate and the agency. We process no wages.
- Candidate profiles are visible only to agencies we have verified and approved — never public. Your contact details are shared only after both sides accept an interview.
- Both sides follow the marketplace code of conduct: communicate professionally, protect creator and fan data, state compensation honestly, and never exchange login credentials through ChatterCert.
- Job listings must follow our listing rules; listings that charge candidates, ask for credentials, demand unpaid production work, or mislead about pay are removed.
- Agencies undergo a documented manual review before verification. Verification is our review-based judgment on the date shown — it is not a guarantee of payment or employment conditions.
8. Content and intellectual property
Course materials, exam content, and everything else we publish belong to ChatterCert or our licensors. Your purchase gives you a personal, non-transferable license to use course content for your own learning. You may not copy, resell, redistribute, or publicly post it. Platform names appearing in credentials are used descriptively to identify what was tested; no endorsement is implied. One premium course contains explicit language examples, clearly flagged before purchase — everything else on the site is safe-for-work.
9. What we do and do not promise
- A certification attests that the holder passed our assessment at a point in time. It is honest evidence of platform or language skill — it is not a guarantee of job performance, employment, or income.
- Marketplace verification is a documented review, not a guarantee. You are always responsible for your own judgment about who to work with.
- The service is provided “as is.” We work hard to keep it accurate and available, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, ChatterCert is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including lost profits, lost employment opportunities, or disputes between candidates and agencies — and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Termination
You can close your account at any time by emailing us. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms — for integrity violations (section 2 and 6), that includes revoking certifications. If your account is closed without an integrity violation, certifications you earned keep their permanent “Certified {date}” record and simply lapse without an active membership.
12. Changes to these terms
When we change these terms, we update the date at the top of this page, and for material changes we notify account holders by email before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and both sides consent to that venue.
