Two kinds of credentials
Course credentials teach a curriculum and end in an exam. Assessment credentials measure an existing skill directly, with no course to complete first.
Course credentials
Infloww, FansMetric, CreatorHero, OF Chat Language, Chatter Foundations, Chatting Fundamentals. You complete lessons and quizzes, then pass a timed final exam to earn the credential.
Assessment credentials
OF Platform Basics, English Proficiency. A timed written assessment — reading, vocabulary, grammar, register, and timed writing — that reports a CEFR-aligned level from A1 to C2.
Exam rules and answer security
A credential is only worth what its exam can defend. These rules apply to every ChatterCert assessment.
- Exams are timed and scenario-based — they test decisions, not trivia recall.
- Grading happens on our servers. Results are never self-reported, and answers are not revealed after the exam.
- Questions rotate from a maintained bank, and there are no public answer keys. Sharing exam content violates the terms and can lead to revocation.
- Two attempts are included per certification. A failed attempt starts a 7-day lockout; a paid retake ($24.99) starts a fresh attempt without the wait.
- A lost connection pauses safely — reconnect and resume. Running out of time submits what you have.
What the credential page shows — and what it never shows
The public page shows enough for an employer to trust the credential, and nothing that exposes the holder or any client.

Holder verification: proving possession
A live credential proves the credential exists. Holder verification proves the person in front of you owns it.
Employer requests it
From the credential page, an employer clicks “Verify holder”. No account is needed.
We email the holder
The confirmation goes to the email the credential is bound to — not to an address the applicant supplies.
The page updates
When the holder confirms, the credential page shows “Holder verified” with a timestamp the employer can see.
Valid, lapsed, and revoked
One live status, three possible values. The earned date never changes; the status tells you whether verification is active today.
VALID
Live verification is active and the credential is in good standing. This is what an employer should expect to see during hiring.
LAPSED
The credential was genuinely earned, but live verification ended at the stated period end — for example after a cancellation. The earned date stays. Resubscribing returns the status to valid without a re-exam.
REVOKED
The issuer removed the credential — usually for an integrity violation such as exam misconduct. A revoked credential should not be relied on for hiring.
Versions: platforms change, so courses change. Every credential records the course version its holder passed, so an agency always knows which curriculum was tested. Current members can retrain on updated content at no extra cost.
